At Sampark Thalassemia Support Services, our primary goal is to improve the lives of children and families affected by Thalassemia. We work tirelessly to provide comprehensive care and support, addressing the diverse needs of those battling this genetic blood disorder. Thalassemia is a condition that affects the production of hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen. This can lead to anemia, fatigue, weakness, delayed growth in children and other serious health complications. At Sampark, we understand the challenges Thalassemia patients face, and we’re dedicated to helping them live healthier, more fulfilling lives. OUR MISSION:
Blood transfusion service for Thalassemia patients: Providing life-saving blood transfusions to children with Thalassemia ensuring access to safe and timely treatment. Child education support: Empowering children through education, offering resources and opportunities to learn and grow, particularly for those from underprivileged communities in both urban slums and rural areas across West Bengal. Healthcare & nutrition: We promote health and well-being by providing access to healthcare services and nutritional support, addressing the specific needs of underprivileged children in both urban slums and rural areas.” Women’s empowerment programs: Empowering women through skills development, education, and support programs, creating opportunities for them to thrive.
Environment protection & tree plantation: From feeding stray dogs and cats to undertake large-scale tree plantation drives and environmental awareness initiatives among the people, promoting a sustainable pollution free and greener society.
